Oxford and Oxford Tube Christmas Bus Times and Timetables 2020

Over the festive period most of our bus routes will be operating to a  Saturday service with some variations. Below is a summary of service levels between Monday 21st December 2020 and Saturday 2nd January 2021.

 

Following the recent announcements by government for Boxing Day, we're pleased to be able to run our services in Oxfordshire as planned over the festive period and into the new year. We are in regular discussions with national government and local ities around the levels of service required, and we are continuing to follow all the travel advice and guidance in place. 

We're sorry to inform our customers that the Oxford Tube service will be suspended from last journey on Christmas Eve until further notice.

Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 December 2020

Saturday service on the majority of routes with some finishing earlier than usual.

Special service on routes 700, 800 and 900.

The Oxford Tube will run  its current Monday to Friday timetable.

Christmas Eve - Thursday 24 December 2020

Saturday service on the majority of routes with some finishing earlier than usual.

Special service on routes 700, 800 and 900.

The Oxford Tube will run  its normal Monday to Friday timetable with an earlier finish.

Christmas Day – Friday 25 December 2020

No service

Boxing Day- Saturday 26 December 2020

Some routes running to a Saturday timetable but finishing earlier than usual.

The Oxford Tube will be suspended until further notice following Tier 4 travel restrictions.

Sunday 27 December 2020

Normal Sunday service on all services.

The Oxford Tube will be suspended until further notice following Tier 4 travel restrictions.

 

Monday 28 December 2020

Sunday service on all routes with reduced evenings on some local services.

Tuesday 29 December 2020

Do buses run on Christmas Day?

There are no local bus or Oxford Tube services on Christmas Day. 

Do buses run on Boxing Day?

A Saturday service will be running on a number of key routes. The Oxford Tube will run to its current Sunday timetable. Some services will not run.

Do buses run on New Year's Eve?
