We know many of you will be looking for information for how lockdown will affect our services. We're working hard to keep our services running for essential journeys, however there may have been some changes to timetables in your area. Please check our latest timetables for more information.
We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. You can keep up to date checking our main Coronavirus page.
At Supertram, we’ve made sure that our vehicles are as accessible as possible for all customers.
Tram stops have two types of tactile paving to help customers find the tram doors and make out the platform edge.
There are also shallow approach ramps and paving, coloured differently to show safe and unsafe areas.
At some tram stops, you’ll find that the highway itself has been lowered, to help customers board the tram easier.
All Supertram vehicles are wheelchair accessible.
Customers with mobility scooters will require a permit to travel – you'll find more info on our Carriage of mobility scooters page.
All our customers are important to us and we recognise that some may need extra help in using our services, especially those that are older or have a disability. Our Disabled People’s Protection Policy leaflet highlights how best to use Supertram’s Tram Train services to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.
